About Us

NVUK (Night Vision United KIngdom) was founded in June 2014 by Pete Dodsworth and Eddie StClare

Initially, our aims were (and still are) to further the knowledge of the use and build of Night Vision equipment via a dedicated Facebook group

( https://www.facebook.com/groups/nvuk.nightvisionuk ) and currently we are Europes biggest and most active group of its kind.

Pete and Eddie started making a few kits for others, trialling all sorts of camera, lens and screen options till we finally arrived at what is now the infamous NVUK kit and all its available upgrade options, and used by many, infact the NVUK kit has become the 'benchmark' for a usable and effective NV unit and is now very often copied (mostly unsuccessfully) by others, and also nominated Best Value NV kit in a recent review and test against other NV kits by Airgun Shooter magazine

In February 2015, we invited by Solware of Tamworth ( https://www.solware.co.uk ) to display some of our NV units at their British Shooting Show stand, we took some stock and sold out!

Based on our success there, In February 2016 we shared a stand with our old friend Ray of AC Guns ( http://www.acguns.co.uk ) and again did exceptionally well.

Also, a big shout to SACS ( http://www.sacs.org.uk ) for your shooting insurance needs, and who have invited us to display and support them for the last 2 years at the Galloway Country Fair held at Drumlanrig Castle

So we were now confident enough to take our own stand at the 2017 British Shooting Show, and wow what a fantastic time we had, meeting lots of the NVUK Facebook group members, new customers and old, as well as making sales.

So here we are today, the largest NV related group on Facebook, our own website and shop, and displaying at many related shooting shows, such as the British Shooting Show, and the Northern Shooting Show.
